Aaron Rodgers might be done with football or might be done with the Packers. Either way, these teams should at least inquire on his status this offseason.

Aaron Rodgers didn’t mince his words following a 31-26 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Green Bay Packers had their moment to try for it on fourth and goal and Matt LaFleur elected to settle for three.

“[The Packers have] a lot of guys’ futures that are uncertain — myself included,” Rodgers said on the upcoming offseason. “That’s what’s sad about it, most, getting this far. Obviously, it’s going to be an end at some point, whether we make it past this one or not, but just the uncertainty’s tough and finality of it all.”

After two seasons with LaFleur, Rodgers is 26-6 as a starter. The Packers have finished as winners of the NFC North and seem ready to become the face of the NFC. They somewhat still are, but only as the runner-up to whoever represents the conference in the Super Bowl.

Rodgers might be done with the Packers. These four teams should at least be willing to see if they could bring him in.

Which teams should most trade for Aaron Rodgers for the 2021 season?

New England Patriots

AFC East

Rodgers’ biggest concern will be looking for teams with weapons. New England isn’t the ideal spot for any quarterback who isn’t willing to start fresh with a young core. Unless Bill Belichick drafted multiple pass-catchers over the seven rounds, it’ll be tough to imagine Julian Edelman not being the top guy.

The biggest selling point in Foxborough would be the defense. Five marquee players opted out before the season began. Star cornerback Stephon Gilmore missed time with multiple injures throughout the season. If he can return healthy, New England has a three-man defensive back set with Gilmore, Johnathan Jones and rising star JC Jackson.

Would Rodgers be willing to work with Belichick and build a team with little weapons? The AFC East has MVP-caliber Josh Allen, youngster Tua Tagovailoa and whoever the New York Jets trot out there.

People talk about how essential the man under center is. Rodgers gives the Patriots a real shot at contention.
