Khasan Magomedsharipov emulates brother in TKO win
Khasan Magomedsharipov squared off with Jonathan Quiroz at Bellator 263
Khasan Magomedsharipov made his Bellator debut at Bellator 263 and handled his business with a TKO finish in the second round over Jonathan Quiroz. The fight was mostly the Magomedsharipov show, save for some rolls by Quiroz. It wasn’t the flashiest fight for Magomedsharipov, but it was certainly a statement for the young, 20-year-old fighter.
Khasan Magomedsharipov showed he might be the real deal at Bellator 263
Magomedsharipov had over 100 amateur bouts before making his debut in MMA at the age of 19 and has won the first five fights of his career heading into his bout with Quiroz. His brother, Zabit Magomedsharipov is a high-level competitor in the UFC and now baby brother Khasan is looking to get on that same level and may just do that. For Quiroz, this was his second fight in Bellator, having bounced around from Combate Global and the LFA.
