HANK AARON RECORDS HIS 3,000 HIT IN HIS MLB CAREER

Eight players had recorded 3,000 career hits before “Hammerin” Hank Aaron, but only the Atlanta Braves great could claim 500 of those to be home runs at the time. This milestone did not take into account the 41 hits and five home runs Aaron recorded during 26 games in the Negro American League with the Indianapolis Clowns. The HOF OF’s ability to hit the ball in play and smash it over the fence was rivaled by none and why he’s largely considered one of the greatest hitters ever, especially considering he also has the most RBI’s, Total Bases, and Extra Base Hits of all-time on top of his other amazing achievements.
